Walkie-Talkie GA turns your iPhone into a classic push-to-talk radio. Hold the button, talk, and let go — your voice goes straight to any friend who has the app.

Getting started

Sign up with your phone number and enter the code we text you.
Pick a name so friends know who's talking.
Allow Contacts so the app can show which of your contacts already have it. (Only scrambled hashes leave your phone — we never see your contact list.)
Hold the big button to talk, release to send. Tap a contact's initials to switch channels.

FAQ

A friend isn't showing up. Why?

For a friend to appear as a channel, two things must be true: they've installed Walkie-Talkie GA and verified their number, and you each have the other's number saved in Contacts. Tap the gear → Find friends to re-scan.

The audio plays from the earpiece.

Tap the SPKR button on the radio to switch between the loud speaker and the earpiece. Your choice is remembered.

My friend didn't hear me right away.

Voice plays instantly when the other person has the app open. If their app is closed, they'll get a notification and hear it when they open the app.

How do I replay a message?

Tap LOG on the radio to see your history, then tap any item to replay it.

How do I delete my account?

Email ricky@browningpc.com and we'll remove your account and associated data.

Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. Short version: no ads, no tracking, and voice clips are deleted after they're delivered.
